Exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials can pose a risk of infection with bloodborne
pathogens including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS viruses. For any employee who can reasonably
be expected to have such exposure as part of their job responsibilities, it is highly recommended that
they be given the appropriate training and offered the Hepatitis B vaccination. We offer that training online.
This course provides you with a general understanding of what bloodborne pathogens are, how they are
transmitted, how to reduce or minimize your exposure to them, what to do if you are exposed, and
other vital information. This course was developed to address the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne
Pathogen Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030.
